Next, you identify useful types of sources and then you find those sources. With your newly acquired sources you then manage them and take notes on them. The last portion is about identifying the issues related to your topic. After that step it is recommended that one should assess the issues and choose one of the issues.

How Chapter 2 Relates to Week 3
In week 3 of English 103 the class will be discussing their search for good sources about their final paper topic and familiarizing themselves with an online database. The class will also later discuss their paper progress and locate three peer-reviewed journal articles for their final paper topic.
